My Story
Paul McClain had plans of going to college, graduating and getting a solid job. Just before he was set to start that path, he noticed that other friends who were finishing college were struggling to even find work, much less their “dream jobs.”
Seeing his friends struggle didn’t appeal to McClain, who was now looking at his second option of taking over his father’s septic and sewer business. McClain saw good income if he chose that road, but knew it would entail long, grueling hours too.
Paul’s wife Natasha was pregnant at the time and Paul was living on his mother’s couch in a two-bedroom apartment with his brother. Paul was making minimum wage part-time pumping septic tanks and still going to school. Natasha was also working a part-time job, trying to save any money possible for the baby arrived.
It was summertime in California and it was hot. My situation was far from ideal for a young man in my position.
While attending a family party, McClain ran into Jason and Tawny Carey, who drove up in a beautiful Lexus. McClain was curious about how they could afford such a nice vehicle, so he asked them.
“Jason told me to come to a meeting and he would show me how a viable theme coupled with a business system would produce a result of time and money,” McClain said. “After watching agents at the meeting list their production and income for the week, I was convinced that if I followed Jason and Tawny and the leadership of Andy Albright I could achieve my goals, which was developing financial independence. The next month I was licensed and writing mortgage protection business.”
With income flowing in, McClain was able to move his family into a house a week after the birth of their daughter – Payten Nevaeh McClain.
Life is much than it was four years ago for the McClains.
“A big goal of mine was to have my wife not to have to ever go back to work and to raise our baby and she never has had to,” McClain said. “We have also traveled all over the world to see countries I thought I would never see. My current goals are to be the youngest millionaire-dollar-income earner, help over 100 people earn over $100,000 and to continue to develop myself through the association of the great people in the company.”
